Do you have a ball machine?
Yes we have a slinger ball machine that can be used by members only. You can also book the ball machine as part of your court booking. Instructions on how to use the ball machine
Can non members book courts?
Courts at Lorton can be booked for £11 an hour, £5.50 for additional 30 mins. Just register and sign into Clubspark to book a court via the clubs website. As soon as you have paid online you'll receive the combination for the lock via email. The lock has a button underneath that must be pressed once the combination is entered.
Do I need to be a member to play social tennis or league matches?
Yes you must be a member to play social tennis or league matches. One exceception to this you can attend a couple of satuarday morning social sessions at 10:00 to get a taste of playing at the club before deciding to join.

What are the best ways to stay up to date with the clubs activity?
We have a Whatsapp community with individaul group chats for a range of social tennis, coaching and matches. If you are a new memeber you should be added to this automatically. If you are a member and want to be added please email lortonmembership@gmail.com

Courts 1 and 2 have floodlights with opeate using 30min tokens per court. They cost £2.50/token/30mins. The light boxes are just inside the changing room door on the right. Place the token into the slot on the side, the lights can take up to 30 seconds to come on. Light tokens for the floodlights are available from:

How do I get involved in League Matches?
Lorton plays in the West Cumbria tennis league; matches run from April through to September. We have 3 teams each for mens doubles, womens doubles and mixed doubles and 1 mens singles team. To get involved contact one of our captains:
