Opportunities To Play
TOURNAMENTS:
Tournaments are run on a regular basis throughout the spring and summer months which cater for players of all abilities and include junior players who have reached a certain standard. We have friendly social tournaments including the Beginning of Season, End of Season and President’s Day, some of which incorporate a BBQ. The main tournament is the yearly Club Championships which runs just over a 6 week period culminating in a Finals Day in September. The tournament allows both senior and selected junior members to compete in both singles and doubles events. LEAGUE TEAMS:
We run many league teams for adults and juniors who play in the Leicestershire Leagues.
In recent years, this has been 3 mens , 3 ladies adult teams and 2 mixed teams in the summer league.
In the winter league we have 3 ladies teams and 2 mens team. We also have veteran teams .
Our juniors run up to 14 teams at different age groups during the summer leagues.
SOCIAL PLAY:
There are several opportunities in the week to play social tennis.
Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7pm are club evenings where members of varying standards all mix in.
There is a social mix in on a Monday from 10-12noon.
