Emotional Intelligence
‘The focus of the programme is to improve the health and wellbeing of pupils. Working to enhance positive coping methods and increased emotional intelligence we will improve the Millfield experience, improve health but also improve performance. This is achieved through our focus on;
Developing an increased ability to self-reflect,
Developing a better understanding of own emotions, behaviours and thought patterns,
Providing relevant education on the use of positive coping strategies,
Developing the ability to recognise and react accordingly to specific cues,
Working to promote overall health across the pupil cohort
This support is delivered within sports through a series of workshops, group sessions, 1:1s with pupils as well as ongoing conversations with coaches.’
