Somerton Tennis Club has been in existence for close to 100 years and been based at its present location at the Sports & Recreation Ground since 1972. The club, affiliated to the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), is based on a simple formula: To provide a well managed and kept tennis facility for its members and for the people living in and around Somerton.
The tennis you play at the club is entirely up to you. Whether you want to hire a court as a non-member to hit with friends, or join-us and play in one of the club's men's, women's or mixed social sessions, compete for one of our teams in the Yeovil and District League, or attend a junior or adult coaching session, there's plenty of opportunities and more for both adult and junior tennis players at Somerton.

FREE - Community Social Sessions:
"Give Tennis a Go this Summer", join us on Wednesday nights in August (7, 21 & 28th) at our mixed Club Social Session's from 7-9pm for free!
Somerton Tennis Club's community sessions are open to the public and everyone is welcome, from 16 years upwards. No racquet, no-problem, we’ll lend you one of ours.
