Say "Hello" to St John’s URC Tennis Club
St John's Tennis Club is a friendly and inclusive club just off Westbury Road in Ipswich, with a driveway entrance opposite Norbury Road. We were established in 1934 and have been going strong ever since.
Whether you're new to tennis, returning after a break or an established player, there's a warm welcome waiting for you at St John's Tennis Club.
Our Club has lots of opportunities to meet and play with others at social tennis sessions. Social play is on Monday and Tuesday mornings from 09:30 to 12:00, Wednesday 18:30 to finish and Saturday 13:30 to 17:00. Members can just turn up and play.
In addition to social play we now offer walking tennis on a Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:30. Please click on walking tennis poster link to see more information.
Membership
All ages are welcome; pre-school and school-age children, students, and adults from 18 to 90. We have a membership plan to suit you. For more information see our membership page.
Coaching
If you're feeling rusty, or looking to improve there are opportunities to work with our club coach, Martyn Bullingham. Martyn is Level 3 qualified and fully LTA accredited. He provides group and 1:1 coaching for all ages and abilities, including summer camps for kids through better doubles match-play coaching.
