WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT REPRESENTING SUFFOLK IN A COUNTY TEAM

  • Currently teams are set in age groups
  • Open age
    • 40+
    • 50+
    • 60+
  • County teams are organised by
  • Each age group has a nominated captain
  • Team selection is by county organisers, team captain and Suffolk Chair
  • Teams will be a minimum of 4 players and maximum of 6
  • Practice sessions are organised to determine selection

The first practice session is set for the O50s on March 1st at the Risbygate Sports Club.

THE EVENTS FOR 2025

  • UK Padel will host the 2025 events at Surge Padel in Bristol
    • A 12 court indoor club
    • 40+   21 and 22nd June
    • 50+   26 and 27th April
    • 60+   6 and 7th September
  • The events run over a weekend and start at 0900 on the Saturday, finish time Sunday around 4 pm
  • Included in the entry fee
    • Normally a hosted dinner by the organisers on the Saturday night
    • Teams get a County shirt provided
  • PLAYERS PAY THEIR OWN COSTS
  • Teams are advised to travel Friday
  • Typical costs
    • Hotel – Premier Inn £125 x 2 nights
    • Entry fee £55
    • Travel and meals
  • Overall cost around £350 - £400 per person
