Following our review and risk assessment of the LTA’s announcement on 31st May we have updated our guidelines for play which will come into effect on Friday 5th June . As our member’s safety is paramount and we respectfully request that everyone acts responsibly during this time. Social distancing (minimum of 2 metres) must be adhered to at all times. These guidelines are subject to change as more guidance becomes available from both the Government and the LTA.
Under no circumstances at this time is the clubhouse to be used and this includes use of the toilets. A first aid kit is attached to the clubhouse for use in an emergency
Courts can now be booked for singles or doubles through Kate Stock on 07738 733656 or email@example.com and we ask that you do not just turn up to play. 10 minutes will be allowed between each booking to allow courts to be vacated before the next arrival.
We are pleased to advise that all four courts are now open for play and we ask if you are allocated no 1 or 2 court you use the main gate and for courts 3 & 4 the side gate. At this time we are aware that some of you may be nervous or uncomfortable if play is taking place on the adjacent court and if this is the case please mention at the time of booking.
Net measures have been removed and nets are set to the correct height and should not be let down after play.
Anti Bac spray is provided at each gate for sanitising the gate handles on entry and exit and hand sanitiser is also provided for your use. It is recommended that you bring your own alcohol gel to use after touching shared surfaces. Bring a full water bottle and do not share food or drink with others and take only the minimum equipment on court. Players are to provide balls, if necessary balls can be marked with your own markings and try to avoid picking up balls that aren't yours. If you wish to buy balls speak to Kate.
If change of ends is required then use opposite sides to change, taking extra care for doubles and consider agreeing in advance which player will take the shot for centre court shots.
Avoid touching your face and if you need to cough or sneeze do so in a tissue or upper sleeve.
Players to wait in vehicle if your court hasn't been vacated and only when it has and the players have left the premises should you then get out of your car and go to the court.
No one with any symptoms of CVID 19 or living with anyone with any signs such as a persistent cough, fever or lack of smell and or taste should be at the club. If you do develop symptoms after playing at the club you should follow the Government’s test and trace guidelines which can be read on the Gov.uk website
