Wimbledon Day 2025
All members welcome on Sunday 13th July, 10am-1pm.
Please join us for some tennis on-court, followed by strawberries, lite bites and a bit of a social off-court.
All abilities and juniors are welcome. George will run a relaxed session with some matchplay and fun games.
Feel free to bring anything additional you wish to eat or drink, without obligation.
Many members will already be aware of the need to resurface our tennis courts, and we have been working hard behind the scenes to find available funding. This much-needed improvement is required to ensure the future of our club.
The resurfacing committee would like to hold a brief and informal 'All Members Meeting' during Wimbledon Day, to present our ideas on how we can collectively achieve the target amount. We're keen to hear member's feedback and open to suggestions; perhaps you can help?
Here's the plan for Wimbledon Day 2025:
10am Arrival and warm up,
10:15-11:45 on court session, lots of balls hit, fun matches and games for all members to enjoy.
12:00 Short presentation on resurfacing project to all members.
12:15-1:00 Drinks, nibbles and social to finish.

Please feel free to come down and play for as long, or as short, as you want. We're looking forward to a good gathering and getting some momentum behind our fundraising efforts.
