The Summer match season kicked off in April. LLTC has 5 men's teams and 3 ladies teams so there are alot of action on court with home matches taking place few times a week, from 6.15pm on weekdays. The leagues are Leicestershire County Doubles, over 40s Doubles, and National League. The bar may be open for spectators. Match evenings are usually very enjoyable for both players and spectators.
Club play or social tennis does not stop during match season. All members young and old can enjoy club play or social tennis sessions all year round. Separately, there are organised squad plays for men and ladies, team matches, junior tournaments and internal club singles and doubles leagues. You could well be playing tennis everyday if you have the energy and if these are still not enough tennis, you can arrange privately to play with others at anytime! Simply go to the the Court Booking page and book a court. You can choose from Courts 1-3 (artificial clay), and 4-7 (hard surface). There are Whatsapp groups which you can ask if people want to play.
