HEAD COACH - PETER LAW

Pete became a member of the Club from the age of 5 and played for the club in junior and senior teams.  He started coaching at the age of 17 and became a full time professional coach and is a former county coach.  He is a level 4 CCA (Performance). He left Stoney Stanton in 2003 and went to coach at Victoria Club in Leicester where he has coached players that made county, regional and national ID days.

JUNIOR COACHING

We are proud of our tradition of encouraging tennis in the area and in particular junior tennis. Junior coaching takes place on Saturday mornings throughout the year and is graded according to ability and age:

Group 1 Ages 4-8     09.00 - 10.00

Group 2 Ages 9-10   10.00 - 11.00

Group 3 Ages 11+    11.00 - 12.00 (Beginners & Improvers)

Group 4 Ages 11+    12.00 - 13.00 (Advanced)

£4 Members / £5.50 Non members

PLEASE NOTE: We try to leave at least one court free during all coaching sessions for private use but depending on numbers this is not always possible. 

COACHING PROGRAMME

 EASTER & MAY CAMPS 2026

March 30th to April 2nd (Mon to (Thurs)

May 26th to May 29th (Tue to Fri)

Fun filled sessions suitable for all, complete beginners welcome! Multi sports warm ups followed by fun, games and team based activities! Racquets provided if needed. Children will be put into groups of age & ability. Sports clothes & trainers to be worn. Bring a drink for multiple breaks & packed lunch if staying for the whole day. Children can eat in the clubhouse. Dress appropriately for the weather. We will play in drizzle/light rain, shelter in the clubhouse for heavy rain. Play tennis, make new friends and have fun at the same time!

Full and half days available.  Book the whole week or individual days. Mix and match days and times to suit you!

Amazing ratios of upto 8:1  

Lead coach is DBS checked, First Aid trained, LTA qualified and insured.
