About our Club

Haddenham Tennis Club has been extremely successful since it was formed in 1986. The club started with a group of individuals who thought that the village could do with tennis courts for families.

We have three floodlit hard-courts and two mini-courts which are all well maintained and provide our members with facilities for leading a healthy and active lifestyle.

The club shares the pavilion which has a kitchen, toilets, showers and a function room with other Haddenham Playing Field users. The adjacent lounge bar which was previously the Haddenham Sports & Social Club and has now been rebranded as The Whistler.

  • The Club ethos has remained strong and our membership includes mini-tots, minis, juniors, young adults, adults, seniors as well as honorary members.
  • We are an open and inclusive club and welcome membership applications from everyone.
  • Our links with the village schools through our coaching programmes create opportunities for all children to develop key life skills such as confidence, discipline and honesty as well as focus and self-control.
  • Adult members can join league teams as well as attend evening coaching sessions and  join in organised weekday/weekend social sessions to integrate with other club members. Club social sessions are listed here please follow this link
  • The future aims of the club are to help everyone enjoy playing tennis and staying active whatever their level as well as producing a steady stream of talented tennis players for the club and county. Whilst keeping a balance of friendly and competitive play plus social activities the club aims  to maintain and develop all facilities to the highest standards.
  • Haddenham Tennis Club holds LTA 2024/2025 Venue Registration status. Annually awarded and nationally recognised it confirms HTC as a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for its members, players and visitors.
  • Our motto Play Safe & Stay Safe @ HTC reinforces the values we prioritise for all users of our courts.
