Lavenham Lawn Tennis Club

Welcome to the Lavenham LTC website which provides up-to-date information on the club's progress and activities throughout the season, both on and off the court. The tennis club has three excellent artifical grass courts (2 of which have just been resurfaced) with floodlighting and one hard court, together with a fantastic clubhouse, complete with changing and shower facilities.

Club mornings are held on Mondays 9.30-11.30.  All welcome.  Ladies Morning is Thursday 9-11.00.  Just pitch up and play.

Halstead League matches are played on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings during the main season and Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings during the winter season.  The men’s senior team plays on Tuesday mornings.  We are not entering a Ladies senior team in this summer's league.  Junior coaching takes place on Tuesday and Friday evenings with adult coaching on Friday mornings 10-11.30.

The club also runs an internal knockout competition as well as various tournaments and social events throughout the year.  We have entered 3 Men's, 2 Mixed, 1 Ladies and 1 Senior teams in the 2026 Summer League.   The Men's A won Division 1 in 2024 as did the Seniors A team and the Senior Ladies in the Friendly League.  We had 2 teams and 2 Senior teams entered in the Winter 2025-26 League.  Match results are available to view on the Halstead and District Tennis League website!
