Penrith Castle Park

Penrith Tennis Club moved to Castle Park on completion of the new courts. We have four all weather courts, three with floodlighting and a clubhouse we share with the Bowling Club.

We welcome new members and encourage players to come and join our social tennis sessions, our members cover a range of ages and abilities.  There are two social sessions per week, Monday and Thursday evenings from 6pm.  These are open to everyone, members free, non-members two free sessions then £5 per session thereafter.

Members can book a court free of charge to arrange their own games.  If the floodlights are required there is a charge of £2 per hour.  Courts are booked through the Clubspark site and on completion you are issued a code, enter this code into the gate keypad and you will be given access.

On Saturday mornings there is Free Park Tennis from 10-11am, this is run by Club Activators it is open to anyone over 5, the aim is to have fun and learn some basic tennis skills.

We are in the process of acquiring a club coach; details will be added to this page when available.

We have a team in the Carlisle and District League, it is hoped with on new facilities we will acquire more members and be able to field another team next season.
