We love to hear from people considering playing tennis, and to explain what we can offer you before you join the club. Email if you cannot pay using Internet or telephone banking, or if you need help. We want everyone to be able to play tennis so if the fee is your barrier please talk to us. Instalment payments vis the GoCardless app are available.

If you are a university/college student living away from Stowmarket in term times and are under 25 years, we have a special deal just for you .

Please confirm by email when you have made a payment so there is no delay in getting you on court: stowtennismemsec@gmail.com. Your membership starts when you receive a welcome email having paid, and have agreed to the conditions of membership - including having read the Code of Conduct and Safeguarding Policy and having agreed to abide by them. Even if you have made a payment, you are not accepted into membership until the welcome email is received. The Club reserves the right to decline to accept applications for membership.

The gate code and sudsidised parking permit cannot be provided until the welfare induction is complete (reading the Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct).

Club Sessions

No need to worry if you do not have anyone to play with. Apart from the WhatApp groups you can join and the Box Ladder, as a member you are entitled to turn up to the Monday and Thursday  Club Mornings (from 9am) and Tuesday (from 7pm in term times and 6.30pm otherwise) and Thursday Club Evenings (from 6.30pm), where you will play doubles with whoever else turns up.  If more turn up than there are courts for, we play short sets and take turns. It is a great opportunity to practise what you are learning in coaching, and you will make friends too.
