The Membership Secretary at Loughborough Lawn Tennis Club (LLTC) plays a pivotal role in managing the Senior membership options and members. The Membership Secretary sits on the LLTC committee and serves as a central point of contact for all senior members. This role encompasses overseeing membership renewals, defining price points, implementing new-member acquisition methods, facilitating the welcome journey for new members, and enforcing club policies regarding non-member club use. As a part of the LLTC committee there is opportunity to contribute towards all key decisions within committee meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Membership Renewals:    - Coordinate the annual membership renewal process for senior members, ensuring accurate records of memberships are maintained.

- Comply with LLTC GDPR Policy

2. Membership Prices:

- Conduct market research and yearly reviews of the cost of memberships, leading committee discussions to ensure we remain competitive within our club offerings.  

3. New-Member Acquisition:

- Develop and implement strategies to attract new senior members to the club. This will include working with the committee and Communications manager to publicise and promote memberships and help with membership drives such as Open Days.

4. Welcome Journey:

- Design and implement a comprehensive welcome journey for new senior members, ensuring they are well informed of the club offerings, facilities, and introduced to the right people

- Act as a point of contact for new members, addressing any questions or concerns they may have

5. Policing Non-Member Club Use:

 - Work with the committee and Directors to enforce club policies

Time Commitment:

We anticipate that as Membership Secretary you will need to spend 1 hour per month (approximate, will vary) on role duties such as answering queries, inducting new members and setting up each months membership category. Additional time (approximately 5 hours per month) during renewal times in March/April.

You will also be expected to attend monthly committee meetings, which last approximately 1-2 hours.
