A fun weekly opportunity for members to play competitively.
Each league will run for 4 to 5 weeks.
Tuesday Box leagues 6.45pm Start.
A fun weekly opportunity for all members to play competitively at whatever level.
Entries will be sorted into groups of similar players (box leagues) with 2 doubles pairings to play doubles (ideally mixed) but points will be awarded individually. I box league per court.
At the end of each week the winning individual will be promoted up to the next level/group giving an opportunity for progression. At the end of the box league period there will be an overall winner and runner up.
There will be an weekly entry fee of £1 per player to cover the cost of the balls each week and a small prize for the player with the most points at the end of the league.
Rules
1. Every week players will play 1 match (everyone else in their box league) and the league will run for 4-6 weeks
2. Each match will consist of a doubles match of 6 games.After 6 games partners will swap and then everyone will again play 6 games and then swap again to play the final 6 games.
3. There will be normal deuce.
4. At the end each player will record the number of games they have won with each partnership giving them a points total for each game.
5. The player with the highest number of points each week will go up to the next division the following week.
6. If a player cannot play one week they are asked to find a replacement to fill in their place.
