Women's tennis is buzzing right now at Kendal Tennis Club.
For the first time in the club's history (we think, let us know if you know otherwise!) we've entered two women's teams into the Kendal and District Tennis League. Demand for match play from our women players is at an all time high and some players new to competition tennis are really enjoying their first season playing for Kendal.
Our Ladies A team, captained by Erica Ferreira is, at time of writing, leading the division while our Ladies B team, captained by Andrea Evans, is snuggled in at the bottom, but players in both teams have been getting stuck into some terrific matches and the B team is gaining confidence and experience.
The pic above is when Kendal A played Kendal B at home at the start of the season and shows some of the pool of players representing both teams. Unsurprisingly, Kendal A have beaten Kendal B convincingly in both of their matches!
