The idea for a new clubhouse, designed to support playing, watching and socialising around tennis, was first conceived in 2020.

After six years of hard work, fundraising activities, and generous donations from members, local businesses and the wider community - together with grants from councils and charitable trusts - it is incredibly exciting to see the clubhouse ready to open.

The new space enables us to offer more inclusive tennis play and coaching. A lift and ramp have been installed to ensure wheelchair users and families with pushchairs can enjoy the new facilities with ease.

Environmental sustainability has also been a key consideration. The clubhouse has been built using environmentally friendly materials that are both durable and easy to maintain, and solar panels have been installed to help reduce our carbon footprint.

However, we still need to raise an additional £60,000 to cover the final costs of the project.
