CONTRIBUTION TO COUNTY CUP EXPENSES

The cost of sending our junior teams to county cups has risen considerably in the last few years and each event now costs several thousand pounds, which far exceeds the amount allocated by the LTA and has to be subsidised from other income, which has had a knock-on effect on other groups. The LTA has a new national focus on U10s, and our budget has to align with that. We will continue to pay the cost of travel, accommodation and coach fees for all of our players, however for the 2026 events we are asking for a modest contribution towards subsistence costs from players in the U11, U12, U14 and U18 squads. This will be £20 per player per event and should be paid directly to the team captain. In exceptional cases, confidential application for exemption can be made to Treasuer@SuffolkLTA.uk . We know this is disappointing but we seek to use our limited funds as equitably as we can.
