Alsager Lawn Tennis Club

We are a small friendly, inclusive and sociable club situated in the centre of the town of Alsager on Sandbach Road North, (Directions) and our mission is to grow tennis by making it relevant, accessible, welcoming and enjoyable for all, so whether you are a seasoned player or someone new to the sport we trust you will find this website useful and informative.   

At Alsager Tennis Club, we are clear that nothing is more important than the safeguarding of those who play our sport from harm. If you have any safeguarding concerns please do visit our designated page or to report a safeguarding concern please use the form at this link.

We recognise the contribution that sport can make to both physical and mental health, national pride and social development when supported by a commitment to safeguarding young people and adults at risk.

 

The club was founded back in 1908 and has seen many changes, we have 4 brand new all weather Astro Turf courts with state of the art LED floodlights and a new clubhouse. We offer competitive subscription rates and visitor fees as well as a comprehensive tennis coaching programme for both juniors and adults of all ages and abilities. 

We are an inclusive club and love to see new faces taking to our courts! Everyone at the club loves their tennis on many different levels and the committee work hard to cater for everyone, whether you are a budding junior champion, or an older player who takes their sport just a little less seriously, then Alsager Tennis Club has something just for you.

Can I play tennis without being a club member?

Alsager Tennis Club is pleased to offer Court 4 to non tennis members to book through Pay & Play. The court is available from 1pm to 3pm every day for online bookings. To find out more about Pay and Play, please visit our dedicated webpage via the link below.

Interested in having Coaching?

At Alsager Tennis Club, coaching is open to members and non members regardless of age,If you are interested in having some coaching, whether you have played before or not, then Alsager Tennis Club can take you on your tennis journey. New Members

If you have recently joined Alsager Tennis Club or have a child being coached at the club, then please do take some time to read our Welcome Page on the link below. As a club, we do pride ourselves on supporting and safeguarding everyone to ensure they have an enjoyable time playing tennis.

Please note:

• All children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult on court.
• Photography and filming is not allowed unless a parental consent form has been completed.
• Non members can be invited by a club member up to three times a season, their first visit is free and subsequent visits are £5 payable to the club Treasurer.
• Members get 5% discount at Home Coffee & Studio - click here for more information

Social Tennis sessions

If you are new to our club and would like to meet and play with other members, learn the basics and just have fun, then why not come and join us at our club Social Tennis sessions. It's not competitive at all, just a chance to meet and play with all abilities.

At Alsager Tennis Club, we run fun Club Ladders for both singles and doubles for all abilities to experience competitive match play, a great way to meet and play other members. We would love to see as many of you taking part in these fun Club Ladders that run throughout the year.
