We entered 6 teams into the Kendal and District Tennis League in summer 2022, one Ladies, three Mens and two Mixed and we enjoyed some great matches all over south Cumbria and north Lancs. We had a wide selection of members representing the club including some new members who’ve never played competitive tennis before and who did themselves proud.

• Many congratulations to our First Mens team who won Division Two and will be promoted to the First Division next season. 
• Our Ladies team led the division for most of the season - but were pipped at the post into a strong second place. 
• The First Mixed team had a very strong season and came second out of seven in the Mixed 1st Division. 
• Our Second Mens team had a solid season and finished 3rd in Mens Division 3.
• The Second Mixed team finished 4th in Division 2.
• Our new Mens Third team was made up of fairly new members, many of whom hadn't play League tennis before. They were up against some experienced teams but played well, had a great time and gained valuable experience for next season.
