Richmond Lawn Tennis Club Update on tennis in Tier 2

Courts will re-open on 2 December

From next Wednesday morning, 2 December, our Tiger Turf and Hard Courts will re-open for play.

We remain in Tier 2 of government restrictions so members should adhere to the rules.  The LTA has issued a summary briefly outlining what activity is allowed.  This information should be read in conjunction with the latest detailed Coronavirus guidance for players, venues, coaches and officials which will appear on the LTA website once Government has published full details of restrictions – this is now expected early next week.

We will keep you informed of any changes to our protocols as a result of new LTA guidance.

Court bookings for singles and doubles are now open. Bookings for Social will need to wait until the LTA's new guidance is issued.

We cannot offer any Cardio, Drills or Social on 2 December, but we very much hope to get everything up and running by next weekend.

Membership update

We had a lot of requests for adult membership in September and October and had temporarily paused new joining.  If you are currently on our membership waiting list, we will approach you proactively once play is allowed again and should the membership reopen.

2020 Club Finals Day - Results
Members turned out in numbers to watch our Finals Day matches, see the presentations and to eat, drink and be merry - all socially distanced, of course.
