All coaching at the club is provided by Carl Douglas Coaching led by Head Coach Carl Douglas who is an award winning (Suffolk LTA Coach of the year on three occasions) and fully qualified LTA Accredited+ Coach. Carl works with a team of adult assistants and junior tennis leaders to support and deliver key programmes.
At Carl Douglas Tennis Coaching, they aim to provide an encouraging and supportive environment for people to learn to play tennis for the first time or for more experienced players to improve specific aspects of their game e.g. groundstrokes, volleys, serving etc. Coaching is offered to people of all ages and abilities including:
- Kids Courses: structured introductory courses to get kids involved in tennis
- Kids Camps: an afternoon day full of tennis and multi-sport activity in every school break
- Junior squads: weekly coaching for players who want to improve and compete
- Adult Coaching: from Beginner to Team player
- Private Lessons: bespoke 1-1 lessons tailored to your need
